Events
DRARA organises several community events a year, most of which involve closing one of our streets to traffic, which provides a rare and wonderful opportunity for residents to relax, play and socialise right outside their homes.
Our regular events are “Meal in The Street” in June or July, and “Film in the Street” in Mid-September”. Other events (dependant on enthusiastic organisers!) in the past have included Street Fairs, Room in the Street, Art in the Street, Playtime in Sinnet Court, and Cricket on Oriel Playing Fields.
There is a small band of people who organise all these events and we always need more people to get involved with organising and helping out on the day, so if you’d like to know more about what you can do to help or would like to come along to the meetings, please do contact me by sending me a message through “Get In Touch“.
