Volunteer Gardener Needed

The SS Mary and John Churchyard team are looking for a front maintenance gardener to keep the flower beds at the front and side of the church tidy, including weeding, mulching, and pruning in the early Spring, plus regular litter picking.
Basic gardening skills will be helpful, and all necessary tools provided. An average of 1 or 2 hours a week are needed, depending on time of year. It may be more fun to job share, and the work could be done at any time – or the new volunteer could work at the same time as the volunteers are working on the rest of the churchyard – Saturdays 2 – 4 p.m.
The reward? An attractive approach that welcomes people to the church and churchyard, much appreciated by visitors, local residents and church members alike.
