Following last Sunday's wander through the amazing array of gardens generously opened to our community as part of DRARA Open Gardens, on 23 June our community will be celebrating more green space with our first ever DRARA Picnic in the Meadow!
A relaxed get-together for all ages, pack a picnic and come along to Warneford Meadow from 12pm to play frisbee and other games, meet neighbours over a cup of tea and slice of cake, explore the meadow or just sit and enjoy the peace and beauty of such a treasured local green space.
To get to Warneford Meadow, go to the far end of Hilltop Road and turn left - the entrance is alongside Jack Howarth House (https://goo.gl/maps/ifNwpj4eby6Pzg7J7).
- Bring a picnic (to share if you like), and a picnic rug if you have one
- There will be a tea and cake stall - any donations of cakes or biscuits would be really appreciated
- If you need a chair at the picnic (and aren't able to bring one) or any other assistance, please email events@drara.org.uk.
